Enjoy your stay at this cozy studio, tucked into a small residential building at the northwest corner of Goodale Park. The studio features a private outside entrance and is easily walkable to some of the city's best restaurants and entertainment. Street parking available for an additional $3/night. The studio is in a vintage building with neighbors upstairs - not a great fit for light sleepers or for noisy groups.

10-min walk (1/2 mile) to Convention Center.

This is a recently updated studio apartment in the finished lower level of a small residential building (you will enter from ground level and go down half a flight of stairs to the apartment).

The studio is one open space with kitchen, living area, dining area, and a queen bed. We have a queen air mattress available to sleep two additional guests. The TV is equipped with a streaming device for connecting to your own accounts (no cable). The kitchen has basic appliances and cookware - pots, pans, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, toaster, and coffee maker. Coffee and filters are provided. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking over a longer term stay, please let us know in advance and we'll try to get anything else you might need (salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc.).

Parking: On-street parking is available for $3/night. Since this is a busy and popular neighborhood, we cannot guarantee the availability of parking spots directly in front of the building - however, it is unlikely that you will need to park more than one or two blocks away.

The entry door to this unit is on the side of the building. You will need to walk up through the front yard and along the side of the building. The back yard is not accessible to guests.

Other little things:
*This building was built in the early 1900s. The unit is not soundproof and it's highly likely that you will hear other people in the building walking around above you. If you hear excessive noise from other people after 10pm, please let us know and we will address it with them.
*There is a door next to the bed which goes into another part of the building. You will not have access to open this door.
*Guests will not have access to the thermostat. There is central AC and heating, but it is controlled from the upstairs apartment. Since this studio is in a finished basement, it can be quite cold in the summers. A space heater is provided in the winter.

We are licensed with the City of Columbus to operate as a short-term rental.

You'll have a private exterior door and private access to the entire studio as pictured. The back yard is not accessible to guests.

Check yourself in with the keypad lock and let us know when you have checked out. We probably won't see you, but we're nearby if you need us.

The Short North is home to some of the best restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and night life in the city. This neighborhood draws a healthy blend of graduate students, young professionals, and families. Goodale Park is right across the street and is home to ComFest, summer concert series, tennis courts, and some really big trees. The building is also along the route for the Cap City Half Marathon, the Columbus Marathon, the Pride Parade, and the Doo Dah parade!

The area is very walkable. If you are able, we suggest parking your car and walking everywhere! Street parking available for an additional $3/night.

*There is a laundry area in the building that can be made available for guests staying seven or more nights. *There is no thermostat in this unit. It shares a furnace/AC system with the 1st floor apartment. Since it is below ground level, it stays very cool in the summer. A space heater will be provided in the winter, but you may not need to use it. If the temperature is uncomfortable for you, please contact us and we can make adjustments.

*The TV does not have cable or access to any free live channels. It is a “smart” TV only. You will need to log into your own streaming accounts to play content on the TV.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $25.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
